It looks like the league’s center has yet to receive the memo. Don’t jump to Ja Morant.

A month before his All-Star hiatus, Nike’s youngest signature athlete has already started drafting his entry for Dunk of the Year while wearing the recently unveiled Nike Ja 1.

Already on the pitch he had two title contenders revealed, but first-look images show Morant’s shot featuring the swoosh widely featured in the most frequently asked questions about Beaverton brand’s newest superstar.

His third colorway has been revealed. The mesh and leather forefoot construction is covered in a plated ‘Phantom’ shade, with the title hue brushed across the heel. A vibrant ‘Action Purple’ tone radiates from under the latter’s stitching textile along with the tab on the heel, while ‘University Blue’ anchors the signature heel-hi counter and sockliner.

A marigold-finished tongue tab and serrated profile underfoot complement a crisp white Air Zoom midsole that complements the initial tone build, while a distinctive “Action Green” pattern accentuates the model’s connected swoosh.

Brings you back. The use of primary color palettes continues, prompting questions such as “Where is Ja Morant from?” and “How many brothers does Ja Morant have?” Sizes will also be released. In the meantime, enjoy a first look at the upcoming Nike Ja 1 ‘Questions’ below.
