Sales of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) during the past seven days have decreased by 13.97% from the previous week, marking the end of the year.
According to statistics, over the past week, 334,668 NFT customers purchased NFTs for $147,054,554.
NFT Sales Are Declining: 13.97% Drop in the Past Seven Days
According to measurements from cryptoslam.io, NFT sales are down this week compared to last, falling by 13.97%. Due to the sharp decline in sales and NFT values over the previous 12 months, 2022 has not been good for NFTs. NFTs originating from Ethereum (ETH) accounted for $113.86 million of the total $147.05 million in NFT sales this past week, or 45%. However, over the past week, sales of NFTs based on ETH decreased by 20.4%.
This week, Solana NFT sales increased 91.36% as the chain recorded $23.64 million in seven-day sales. Despite the size of Solana’s growth, Waves-based NFT sales only sold $7,609 worth of NFTs despite a 302.59% increase. Although Theta’s NFT sales increased by 132.29% over the previous week, just $358 worth of digital collectibles were sold.
Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), which made $12.59 million over seven days, has this week’s highest sales total. The $12.59 million over 144 purchases, however, represents a 47.05% decrease from BAYC’s sales the previous week. Other deeds, Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), Azuki, and Cryptopunks are the organisations that come after BAYC, in that order. Sales for Cryptopunks this week increased by 94.71% over those from the previous week.
Sales for the Solana NFT project Degods, which aims to move the NFTs to the Ethereum chain, increased by 253.80% compared to the previous week. Azuki #4,690, which sold three days ago for $216K, was the most expensive digital collectible to be sold in the last seven days, according to data. Azuki #2,311, Azuki #9,446, and Bored Ape Yacht Club #193 came after Azuki #4,690.
The top three most costly floor value pricing for NFTs now is offered by Mutant Ape Yacht Club, Cryptopunks, and BAYC. According to nftpricefloor.com, the floor value for BAYC is 69.49 ETH, while the floor value for Cryptopunks is currently 65.47 ETH.
